Streaming Services Not Working
Problem
Streaming platforms (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, etc.) show a geo-restriction error, proxy error, or refuse to load content while you are connected to SkyDomeVPN.
Common symptoms
- "You seem to be using an unblocker or proxy." error on Netflix.
- Content is unavailable in your region.
- The streaming app loads but video will not play.
- Buffering that does not occur when the VPN is off.
Troubleshooting steps
- Clear the streaming app's cache and cookies, then try again.
- Try a different server in the same country — some server IPs get blocked over time.
- Use a server labeled for streaming in the SkyDomeVPN server list.
- Disable WebRTC in your browser settings or use our browser extension, which blocks WebRTC leaks.
- If the issue persists on one service, contact support and mention the platform name and server you used.
SkyDomeVPN can only stream content that is available in the region you connect to. You cannot bypass content that is not licensed in any region.
